Rick's Thoughts on the Civita Day Bag
Everyone needs a day bag. You leave your big bag at the station or in the hotel and function out of this. A purse attracts thieves. To a thief, this innocent looking little bag falls into the student's book bag category — not very exciting. It's sturdy but super light with a slinky fabric earning it the nickname "Ricardo's secret" in my office. I like it to feel as comfy as a warm bowl of soup tastes. While some customers think it feels too thin to be strong, it is plenty strong. My Civita day bag — the one you see in my TV shows — has been a workhorse for me on several trips over several years and it still feels almost new. The roomy main compartment is good for sweater, picnic, and souvenirs. The large outer pocket is good for sunglasses, camera, cell phone, guidebooks and so on. And the small outer pocket is your organizer for tickets and tiny things you might prefer to keep here rather than in your pocket. The two mesh side pockets are great for your water bottle, magazine, or umbrella. I've designed this the Civita bag after 20 years of day bag use. If I could have or even imagine any day bag on earth…it would be this one.
