Carry-On-Friendly: Measuring 9" x 21" x 14" and weighing just 3 lbs, it fits within most airlines' carry-on guidelines.
Expandable: Whenever you need more room, pull open the full-perimeter expando-zipper, and its capacity jumps to 3000 cubic inches (making your bag "fatter" than the carry-on limit).
On Your Back: It easily converts from a smart-looking suitcase to a versatile backpack, with comfortably-curved, air mesh-lined shoulder straps, waistbelt (that tucks away when not in use) and back panel.
As a Suitcase: When you want to use it as a suitcase (or check it as luggage in "expanded" mode), the straps and waistbelt safely tuck away in the back. Handy D-rings give you the choice of adding our optional Over-the-Shoulder Strap.
Handy Extras: We include a pair of mesh bags for smaller items, and a clip-in security pouch (which you can also clip inside any day pack or shoulder bag we sell).
Packing Light and Right: This bag is one of the lightest full-size carry on bags available due to the fact that it contains no frame. For best results and extended carrying comfort, we recommend our Packing Cube Set as an essential packing aid. When used with the two internal and four external cinch-tight compression straps, packing cubes will help to maintain the structure of the bag and distribute the load much more evenly across the back.
Be Aware: New fees for checked luggage (and fears of lost luggage) are causing many travelers to increase what they carry on board, overwhelming the cabin luggage capacity of some flights. As a result, airline personnel are sometimes rejecting carry-on bags that comply with published regulations. Always check with your airline to confirm carry-on restrictions, and prepare to check your bag if asked.
